TONINA is owned and operated by English couple Pete and Karen who share a common love of the sea and have sailed and dived together in many places around the world.

Pete started sailing as a boy on his father’s boats and has since owned several of his own. As a qualified Yacht Master he has always been at home on the sea and introduced Karen to sailing, who is now a qualified Day Skipper. Karen has been a qualified diver for over 13 years and Pete is now hooked on diving and both are PADI rescue divers.

Pete & Karen decided several years ago to swap their successful careers in Information Technology for a more fitting lifestyle that allowed them to fully enjoy their passion for sailing, diving and Caribbean life. Owning and operating a crewed charter yacht became the obvious way to make this change happen. In 2006 they took delivery of TONINA and they’re now in their forth charter season. Charter brokers chose TONINA, Karen and Pete as ‘3rd Best in Show - Best Catamaran under 57ft’ at the BVI Boat Show 2008/9 and they recieve rave reviews from guests; see what they have to say on the Guest Comments page.
